Please be advised a duel carriageway is a road which is separated with a central reservation.
You should generally stay in the left hand lane unless you are overtaking and once you have overtaken go back into your left hand lane using the msm routine.
When exiting a roundabout onto a duel carriageway check your nearside mirror and join where possible the left hand lane.
When changing lanes on a duel carriageway assess your mirrors and indicate once you are about to carry out the manoeuvre
When turning right or crossing over a duel carriageway make sure that if you stop in the central reservation that you have enough space for the length of your vehicleShare
